Research directions

powder metallurgy material formulation and mixing process research, basic blank material and surface densification technology research, high-performance welding agent research, forming lubricant research and warm compaction forming technology research, etc. 

Current projects

8 projects sponsored by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Shanghai Hi-tech Industrialization Demonstration Project, and the Shanghai Automobile Foundation Project.

The center undertook and carried out a number of scientific research tasks, solved the sintering brazing, sintering hardening, warm compaction, surface densification, powder forging (early) and many other common technical problems, accelerated the development and application of new powder metallurgy technology and new materials industrialization process. 22 invention patents were applied, and 2 provincial and ministerial level scientific and technological achievements were awarded.
